Dr. Woolley-Barker is an Evolutionary Biologist, Primatologist, and Bio-Inspired Innovation Consultant with 25 years experience at the intersection of biology and sustainable design. She is a ‘Biologist at the Design Table’ contracting with Biomimicry 3.8, author of ‘The Biomimicry Manual,’ a regular column for Inhabitat.com, cofounder of Biomimicry San Diego, and advisory board member for Biomimicry Switzerland. Her unique expertise is exploring the simple rules behind complex adaptive social structures in insects, marine mammals, and primates, and applying them to our own global challenges. She is working on a book, SuperOrganizations: Nature’s Game-Changing Guide To Faster, Smarter, More Valuable Companies.
