Pollinator Pathway
Director

Sarah Bergmann is a crossdisciplinary thinker working in the fields of art, design, and ecology. Bergmann is the Director of the Pollinator Pathway, a global design project that reimagines the relationship between human and natural systems. The Pollinator Pathway combines ecology, design thinking, and participation to create largescale design projects connecting cities, farmland, and national parks, each built to Bergmann’s criteria. Bergmann is the winner of the Seattle Art Museum’s Bowen Award and the Stranger Genius Award, and her work is praised by NPR, Popular Science, and KUOW. Bergmann lectures frequently to architecture, art, and design audiences, including at the Seattle Art Museum and TEDx.
