Educated in biology and law on construction sites & development projects, and the Peruvian rainforest, Josh advises clients in translating and applying Life’s deep laws to design, construction and complex sustainability initiatives. He adapts resilience science, TEK and the sciences of life to practice, and ultimately, as a deliberation for our children’s adaptive health and resilience. Recent projects include: facilitating a community deconstruction infrastructure (deconstruction as decomposition); building as an ecosystem engineer; developing a design algorithm based on resilience and ecosystem scale biomimicry; creating place-based metrics; and founding a regional biomimicry network. He lectures, internationally, on resilience science and biomimicry.
