Sustainable Design Research Intern
James Wilson is an architectural researcher at BKSK Architects in New York City. His work focuses on ethnographic and embodied forms of design research and education. He was recently named the 2014 George G. Booth Traveling Fellow by University of Michigan. His project, concerned with the social culture of Denmark as it relates to social health and wellness, is entitled Hygge: The Phenomenology of Danish Social Space. The project will be completed in January 2015. He is an active member of the NY/NJ Living Building Challenge Collaborative and serves on the Steering Committee for AIA COTE.
