Amalia is a licensed civil engineer, certified planner and director at SvR Design Company. She has extensive experience working with municipal agencies and their stakeholders on projects that emphasize the integration of urban design, green infrastructure, pedestrian and transit infrastructure. She presents both locally and nationally on these topics and the associated social equity considerations. Amalia holds a bachelor’s of science in civil engineering from the University of Washington and recently participated in the Urban Land Institute’s Center for Sustainable Leadership.
