Jennifer Preston
BKSK Architects
Associate, Sustainable Design Director
Jennifer leads the development of sustainable architectural solutions at BKSK Architects where she implements practical integrations of resilient building ecologies. Jennifer’s research work at Columbia University and BKSK combines design, emergent science, simulation modeling and shared resource mapping to inspire future solutions in urban food production, global waste networks, micro remediation landscapes, and comprehensive redlist development. Her academic and teaching pursuits, through the GSAPP DeathLAB, center around the exploration of memory and quotidian rhythms through remediative cemeteries as potent public space. She is the local facilitator for the NYC+NJ Living Collaborative, and serves on the Steering Committee for AIA COTE.
