Living Future 2015

Large scale efforts with power houses like Google and Mohawk are working towards a world of healthy materials. ILFI, Healthy Buildings Network, and others are helping to organize and share information. Local efforts within each LBC project have their own unique challenges and opportunities. There are multiple paths and strategies to reduce toxicity within our built environment. To achieve mass change, we all need to engage. The first panel will include a discussion of trends within the broader Materials movement through several research platforms. The second part will use The Rose, a 90 unit multi-family affordable housing project in Minneapolis, as a catalyst for dialogue surrounding the real life situations that faced the project team.
