Getting to Net Zero in Cambridge, MA: driving community-level emission reduction strategies

A community-led petition charted Cambridge, Massachusetts on a path to becoming a net zero community. Throughout 2014, the "Getting to Net Zero Task Force," a group of local experts met monthly to develop a roadmap to becoming a net zero community. This session will reveal the framework and tools used to drive this complex and ambitious initiative, including building and maintaining broad community support. Participants will be engaged to think creatively about how to generate community support and drive action toward net zero. Suitable for public and private sector audience, with intermediate familiarity with building retrofits and low-carbon energy applications.
